EILEEN SMITH is a licensed therapist and university lecturer. She is the founder of Personalized Counseling Center and specializes in relationships, anxiety, and life transition issues. She provides proven strategies and practical tips to move your life forward in a positive direction.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Prior to establishing an office in Naples, Florida, Eileen had a highly regarded private in New Jersey, and was well respected for her work with clients and physicians. She also held the position of Director of Counseling at The Counseling Group & Family Institute of New Jersey.

In addition to being an experienced therapist, Eileen developed and taught various courses at Kean University and Fairleigh Dickinson University including Child Development and Family Therapy. Among her recent speaking engagements, she presented to medical students at Florida Atlantic University’s Charles E. Schmidt School of Medicine on Anxiety and Mindfulness topics. Additionally, she gives a webinar series on Overcoming Obstacles focusing on “The Power of Happiness”.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

Eileen earned her Masters Degree from Kean University in Behavioral Sciences and Marriage & Family Therapy, where she graduated With Distinction. Her undergraduate studies were at the University of Albany, State University of New York, graduating cum laude.

Along with on-going training and professional development, she collaborates and provides consultation to other therapists in Florida, New Jersey and NYC. In addition, Eileen mentors new therapists to develop their clinical skills and professional expertise.
